James H. Perry, II is the managing partner of Perry & Neblett, a full service admiralty and maritime law firm based in South Florida. Jim completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and continued on to the University of Miami Law School where he obtained his juris doctorate.
For more than 15 years, Mr. Perry has earned a reputation for providing skilled and practical guidance as an admiralty and maritime trial attorney, as well as an internationally recognized authority on vessel acquisitions, registration/documentation and offshore closings. Jim prides himself on a “hands on” approach and is committed to providing his clients with competent, cost effective legal representation.
Mr. Perry is proud to be a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, the Florida Yacht Brokers Association and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute. Jim has published articles relating to admiralty and maritime law, and is a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education courses and commercial trade organizations. He also serves on the Admiralty Law Committee for the Florida Bar.
Outside of the courtroom, Jim is an avid boater and is frequently found offshore fishing, diving, or cruising on the high seas.

Professional Information:
Prior to entering law school in 1987, David Famulari spent 13 years as a commercial fisherman, captaining offshore fishing vessels off the coast of New England. He was a member of the Atlantic Off-Shore Fishermens’ Association from 1976 to 1987 (Board of Directors, 1983-1987) where he was active in formulating policy relating to fishing vessel safety and marine insurance. In the off-season, he worked for marine insurance companies as a fishing boat expert.
David primarily practices admiralty and maritime law concentrating in maritime personal injury, hull and machinery claims, and insurance coverage issues, representing both underwriters and owners. Additionally, he represents employers and carriers in workers’ compensation matters under both the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Florida Workers’ Compensation Act at both the trial and appellate levels. David has published articles relating to admiralty and maritime law in the University of San Francisco Law Review and The Florida Bar Practice Manual in Maritime Law
Brendan Philip
BRENDAN J. Brendan earned a degree in Political Science from Eckerd College. After interning at the United Nations in Washington, D.C., Brendan earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law where he was active as President of the St. Thomas University chapter of the International Law Society. Brendan also had the honor of being asked to participate in the Peter T. Fay Inn of Court, an organization modeled after the British system of training young "barristers," or trial lawyers, which is committed to improving the practice of law.
During law school, Brendan clerked for two Miami-Dade County judges and interned at BP Trinidad & Tobago. In his final year in law school, Brendan clerked for a respected Miami maritime law firm in downtown Miami, which he continued gaining experience in Admiralty law as a full time Associate Attorney upon graduation. Brendan has experience in a variety of Admiralty matters, including limitation of liability matters, maritime personal injury and wrongful death, and maritime insurance defense.
When not in the office, Brendan enjoys boating, travelling, and SCUBA diving, amongst other pursuits.
